I've been in the trenches of healthcare leadership and frontline care.

When I began my journey as a hospital chaplain, I was quickly immersed in the unique pressures of healthcare, life-and-death decisions, grieving families, exhausted clinical teams, and the relentless pace of 24/7 operations. During COVID, I worked alongside frontline healthcare workers, witnessing firsthand the toll that crisis leadership takes on even the most dedicated professionals.

I watched brilliant physicians, compassionate nurses, and capable administrators burn out trying to care for everyone while neglecting their own well-being. I experienced it myself, the emotional drain of supporting others through trauma, the weight of organizational pressures, and the challenge of maintaining resilience in an environment where lives hang in the balance.

That shared struggle became my mission.

What followed was a transformational journey in building deep resilience.  Through my doctoral research and years of working with hospital systems, I've developed practical tools that actually work in the real world of healthcare leadership not just in theory, but in the ICU at 3 AM, during difficult family meetings, and in C-suite decisions that impact patient care.

Today, I help healthcare leaders and organizations develop those same tools. Not from academic theory alone, but from lived experience in the trenches of healthcare, combined with research-backed strategies that understand the unique challenges you face every day.
